Otto privacy policy

Otto is a personal tool used by one person, Stuart Slavin, on his own computer. It has no other users.

What Google data Otto uses

• Google Calendar: reads event times and titles so Otto can remind its owner of what is coming up; adds an event only when he approves it.
• Gmail: reads message headers and short previews to sort the owner's inbox, applies labels and archives mail. Otto never sends, trashes or deletes mail.

Where it goes

Everything stays on the owner's computer. Mail bodies are not stored. No Google data is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Otto's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
